Charles and Wilma Nelson of Holbrook will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house for family and friends from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Rogersville fire hall.

The Nelsons were married November 24, 1963.

They are the parents of five children, Michael (Susie) Nelson, Robert (Carolyn) Nelson, Karla (Scott) Collins, Susan (Jeffrey) Black and Scotty (Tonya) Nelson.

The couple also have 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
