Lazzara – 60 years
Joseph and Frances Lazzara of Burgettstown will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family.
Mr. and Mrs. Lazzara were married October 10, 1953, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Burgettstown, where they continue to be members.
They have four children, Tom (Georgean) of Boardman, Ohio, Rosanne of Cherry Valley, Augie of Imperial and Felicia (Buddy) of Moon Township.
Their grandchildren are Julie, Valerie, Joseph, Conor, Jessie, Crystal, Joanna, Hilary and Chad. They have two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lazzara was an ironworker with Local 3 for many years and owned a tavern in Cedar Grove for 18 years.
Mrs. Lazzara is a homemaker and worked at G.C. Murphy’s for many years.
Both enjoy spending holidays and special occasions with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They also enjoy an active social life with their close circle of friends, playing cards, visiting cafes and visiting Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
