Sammartino – 60 years
Joseph and Rita Sammartino of Canonsburg will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family party.
Mr. and Mrs. Sammartino were married April 19, 1954, in St. Genevieve Church, Canonsburg.
The couple have three daughters, Rita Ullom of Claysville, Renee Ledger of Canonsburg and Jody Winters of Canonsburg.
Their grandchildren are Jessica, Beth Ann, Briana, Melissa, Noma, Ova, Jonathan and Jolyn. They have 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sammartino is a retired barber, hairstylist and owner of Mr. Martino’s Penn Commercial Beauty Academy.
Mrs. Sammartino worked for her husband as a secretary and bookkeeper.
Both are avid bowlers and Mr. Sammartino enjoys golfing.
