Hixenbaugh – 60 years
Wayne and Sarah Hixenbaugh of Avella will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house held by their family from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds 4-H hall. Dinner will be served. Please omit gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Hixenbaugh were married December 2, 1954, in Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four.
The couple have five daughters, Beth Hixenbaugh of Avella, Kay Barnhart of Washington, the late Ruby Drilak, the late Diana Barker and the late Cassandra Joy Hixenbaugh.
They have seven grandsons, Ben, Mark, Ryan and Andrew Drilak, Daniel Barker and Tyler and Scott Myers, and two granddaughters, Aimee DiNardo and Ashley Myers. They also have two great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
Mr. Hixenbaugh is retired from Brockway Glass Plant No. 7 and 84 Lumber Co. corporate offices.
