Welsh – 65 years
Thomas and Marie Welsh of Washington celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a catered picnic luncheon, with entertainment provided by a three-piece bluegrass band. The luncheon was arranged by their family.
They also celebrated later in the week with a dinner cruise on the Gateway Clipper Fleet.
Mr. and Mrs. Welsh were married July 28, 1950, in Cross Roads United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James L. Thome officiating.
Their children are Thomas, Mark and Scott of Claysville, Daniel of British Columbia and Laura Male of New Kensington. Two daughters, Nila Marie and Cynthia Diane, died in infancy.
Their grandchildren are Niki Ryburn, Emily Reihner, Rachel Klick, Justin Welsh, Sarah White, Jordan, Emerson and Matteo Welsh and Steven and Keith Male.
They have 10 great-grandchildren.
