Charlie and Bonnie Hines of Amity celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner and party with family and friends given by their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Hines were married August 21, 1965.

Their children are Ken (Terese) Hines of Washington and Tammie (Christian) Marry of Washington.

Their grandchildren are Gaage and Dausen Marry and Danielle Hines.

Mr. Hines is a retired coal miner, and Mrs. Hines is a homemaker.
