Lyle – 50 years
Jim and Nancy Lyle of McMurray celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a Mass by the Rev. Adam Verona at St. Benedict the Abbot Church in McMurray and a brunch for family and friends hosted by their children. A trip to Disney World and a Caribbean cruise followed.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle were married November 16 in St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, Pittsburgh.
Their children are Jim Lyle Jr. (Sue) of Mt. Lebanon, David Lyle (Lori) of McMurray, Suzie Sodini (Steve) of Bethel Park and Cyndi Richter (Glenn) of Normalville.
Their grandchildren are Heather Lyle Hanbury; Joey, Maria, Anna, Ben, Andrew, Theresa, Angela, Elizabeth, John Paul and Clare Lyle; Alex, Sara and Wyatt Sodini; and Eli and Levi Richter.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle are both graduates of Duquesne University.
Mr. Lyle was president of the Alcoa railroads and a transportation manager in Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
Mrs. Lyle is a homemaker.
