Henderson – 50 years

Paul and Shirley Henderson of Washington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 23 with a dinner at Bravo Cucina in Robinson Township with family and friends. They also celebrated on Jan. 21 with friends at Napoli’s Restaurant, and they look forward to staying at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, W.Va.
Their children also surprised them with a vacation to visit family in British Columbia, Canada, this summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Henderson were married January 23, 1965, in First Christian Church, Burgettstown.
Their children are Chris (Sarah) Henderson of Glen Allen, Va., and Matt (Stephanie) Henderson of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Gabby, Katie, Morgan and Joseph Henderson.
Mr. Henderson was employed by Brockway Glass Plant No. 7 until its closing. He also retired from a second career as the tipstaff of former President Judge Thomas Gladden at Washington County Courthouse.
Mrs. Henderson is retired as a manager of Thomas Campbell and Thomas Campbell North Apartments. She works part time at The Amish Touch, Washington.
