Carter – 40 years
Bradley and Brenda Carter of McDonald will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a special trip back to where it all began, Bellevue, Neb. They will continue their trip to Durango, Colo., to visit historic Native American sites. They will also attend a Pittsburgh Pirates game with their daughters, sons-in-law and granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter were married August 6, 1976, in Sarpy County Courthouse, Papillion, Neb.
Their children are Kimberly (Kwame) Carter-Okyne of Plainfield, N.J., and Katie (Joe) Moss of Strabane.
They have one granddaughter, Kolby Okyne.
Mr. Carter retired in 2010 from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of senior master sergeant. Mrs. Carter is employed by MCC International.
