Munnell – 50 years
Jerry and Marcy Munnell of Washington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. July 9 at the Villas of Arden Mills clubhouse, near the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Mr. and Mrs. Munnell were married July 10, 1966, in Fairmount Evangelical United Brethren Church, East Finley, with the Rev. Arnold Kastner officiating.
They have two daughters, Dr. Michelle (Paul) Rabideau of Whitmore Lake, Mich., and Nichole Munnell of Pittsburgh.
Their grandchildren are Philip, Rachel and Rebecca Rabideau.
Mr. Munnell is best known for his work as a shoe repairman while operating Jerry’s Shoe Repair in Washington.
Mrs. Munnell retired from the United Parcel Service after almost 28 years.
Both are members of Fairmount church, now United Methodist Church, where they were married.
