Wass – 60 years
Wayne and Patricia Wass of Washington will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Bella Sera in Canonsburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Wass were married June 16, 1956, in St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Harrisville, W.Va.
Their children are Pamela (Carl) Bruckner of Lancaster, S.C., Leigh Laabs of Washington, Amy (Kirk) Phillips of Washington and Boyd (Dina) Wass of Canonsburg.
Their grandchildren are Steven, Ryan and Seth Bruckner, Dawson Laabs, Austin Phillips and Graydon, Garrett and Gunner Wass.
They have five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wass was employed as a machinist at Star Engineering and X-Mark Industries until his retirement.
Mrs. Wass was employed as a registered nurse at Washington Hospital, Canonsburg Hospital and Home Health Care until her retirement.
Both are members of Abundant Life Baptist Church, Washington.
