Weddle – 70 years
T. Eugene and Barbara Weddle of Washington celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a card shower by family and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Weddle were married March 24, 1946, in Wayside Inn, Chatham, Mass.
Their children are Laura (Douglas) Weddle Johnson of Weirton, W.Va., and the late Kenneth Weddle, whose wife, Linda Weddle, resides in Aurora, Ill.
Their grandchildren are Kelli Weddle Wick, Jeffrey Weddle and Heather Johnson Hanson.
They also have 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Weddle is retired from Brockway Glass, Washington.
Both are charter members of Calvary Baptist Church, Washington, and were members of the group, “The Merry Hearts,” who sang to shut-ins and residents of area nursing homes.
