Coyle – 50 years
Robert and Joanne Coyle of East Washington celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with family and friends at The Golf Club of Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Coyle were married July 9, 1966, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
Their children are Rob Coyle of Manassas, Va., Amy (Dave) Bodman of Midlothian, Va., Michael (Andrea) Coyle of Charleston, S.C., Sean (Dana) Coyle of Washington and Andrew (Christine) Coyle of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Margaret, Peter and Brian Bodman, Finn and Adelaide Coyle, George, Seamus and Henry Coyle and Grace and Meghan Coyle.
Mr. Coyle is retired from Washington School District, where he was employed as a psychologist and guidance counselor.
Mrs. Coyle is a retired registered nurse. She enjoys spending her free time volunteering for numerous church and community organizations and baking her “famous” sugar cookies for her grandchildren.
Both are active members of Immaculate Conception Church.
