Start 2018 on a caring note. If you can help someone an hour or two a week or a month, you can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• A Claysville senior with disabilities needs help going to appointments in Pleasant Hills several times per year.
• A
• Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to various appointments in the Mon Valley.
• A Burgettstown (Cherry Valley area) senior woman needs someone to visit and read the Bible with her due to vision issues.
• A Charleroi senior woman needs help with grocery shopping, dishes and laundry.
• A Wolfdale senior woman needs rides to the bank and grocery store.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs someone to get groceries at the store for her.
• A West Brownsville senior woman needs a friendly visitor weekly.
