Mancan Staffing Agency’s 7th Annual Coats for Kids runs through Dec. 15. Coats or cash donations can be dropped off at any Mancan location. For a full list of Mancan locations, visit Mancan.com. The goal is 4000 coats. All donations stay within the county they are donated in.

Fresh Fire Church will support the free Produce to People food program from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in the Fiddler’s Building at Fayette County Fairgrounds. Volunteers are needed to help at 8:30 a.m. The next date is Dec. 14. Anyone who needs food is welcome and there are no income limits.
Greene County Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday,. The parade marshal will be Paul Crayne, a 100-year-old veteran of World War II. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at Greene County Courthouse. Prior to the start of the parade, there will be a performance featuring songwriters and Little White Garage artists Taylor Krebs and Jason Deutsch.
Washington Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Washington County Courthouse, Room 103, Washington. A 50/50 will be offered and kids prizes will be awarded. For more information, call 724-984-6611.
A Veterans Day fundraising event, including a show and dance with the Fabulous Gemtones, will be held Saturday at SNPJ Lodge, 540 Third Ave., Bridgeville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefit a local veterans organization.
