Claysville Volunteer Fire Department Station 31’s Christmas Parade will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday.

All area organizations, families and individuals are encouraged to participate.

The theme is at the discretion of the entrant, but the use of Santa Claus is prohibited, as Santa will arrive on a fire engine. There will be no judging and no prizes awarded.

At 5:30 p.m., floats, marching units, cars, etc., should assemble in the parking lot of the Claysville Elementary School with all fire, EMS and other emergency vehicles staging on Route 40 west of the Catholic church.

Following the parade, Santa will visit with the children and hear their Christmas wishes in the Claysville Community Building.

A treat will be provided for each child. Registration is not required.
