If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, your time can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some recent requests are:

• A Cherry Valley/Burgettstown-area visually impaired, senior woman needs someone to visit, read the Bible and/or go shopping with her.
• A Cokeburg senior woman who uses a walker would like someone to take her shopping during the day.
• A Monongahela senior woman who loves animals would like a friendly visitor once a week to talk to.
• A Charleroi senior man needs someone to assist with grocery shopping.
• Would you like to join a list of on-call drivers or escorts to take seniors or individuals with disabilities shopping or to appointments? Volunteers are needed from throughout the county to drive at various times.
