Christian Mothers and Guild at St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg, will hold its annual Mother-Daughter May banquet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe. Cost is $30. Jeff Riker will entertain with a variety of musical selections. The guild’s annual picnic will be held in the St. Patrick School cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. June 6. Bingo will be played.
Tin is the New Black, an exhibition of artwork using repurposed printed lithographed metal from product containers, advertising, signage and more, will be on display May 3-June 22 at Oglebay Institute’s Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, W.Va. A free opening reception will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3.
A National Day of Prayer worship service for the Brownsville community will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, 215 Church St., Brownsville. Come for free sandwiches and salad at 6 and stay after worship for “Ask the Pastor.”
