Breast cancer walk moves to Pittsburgh
Washington County Strides walk has merged with the Pittsburgh Strides walk for the American Cancer Society Making Strides against Breast Cancer kickoff, which will be held Aug. 15 inside the Allegra Club at Highmark Stadium. Andrew Stockey will emcee the event. The walk will take place on Oct. 6.
Making Strides against Breast Cancer unites communities, honors those touched by the disease and raises awareness and funds for a world without breast cancer.
Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research, provide education and guidance to help people reduce their risk and offer comprehensive patient support to those who need it most.
