Wilkinson – 60 years
Dr. and Mrs. Thomas C. (Jacqueline Price) Wilkinson of Canonsburg celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner, including 20 members of their immediate family, at Franco’s Trattoria in McMurray.
Dr. and Mrs. Wilkinson were married August 16, 1958, at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Roscoe.
They have three children, Thomas J. (Sherry) Wilkinson of Roscoe, Kristen W. (Scott) Weiss of Bridgeville and Kimberly W. (Mark) Young of Canonsburg, and five grandchildren, Adam and Rachel Wilkinson, Sophia Weiss, and Sean and Logan Young. They also have one great-grandchild.
Dr. Wilkinson was employed for 50 years as a teacher, principal and superintendent of schools in Western Pennsylvania. His last employment was at California University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Wilkinson, who retired with 47 years experience, was an elementary teacher at Monessen City schools and also taught at California University of Pennsylvania.
Their favorite trips included seeing Paris, visiting resorts in Mexico and a Mediterranean cruise.
