Jefferson-Morgan Lions Club selects Student of the Month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Brynn Boyd as its student of the month for October.
A daughter of Jackie and Bobby Haley of Waynesburg, Boyd is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.33 GPA.
Boyd is member of the volleyball, softball and basketball teams. She is also the secretary/treasurer of the senior class, a member of National Honor Society, Leo Club, Academic Team, Debate Team, Peer Jury, Drama Club, Science Olympiad, and Envirothon.
She also volunteers her time with activities that support Colby’s Stars Foundation and Catnip Acres.
In the future, Boyd plans to pursue a career in pharmacy.

A daughter of Leroy and Heather Wright of Mather, Wright is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.25 GPA.
Wright is member of the volleyball and basketball teams. She is a member of National Honor Society, Leo Club, Academic Team, Debate Team, Peer Jury, Drama Club, Science Olympiad, and Envirothon. In addition, she serves as secretary/treasurer for Student Council, is on yearbook staff, and participates in SADD.
Her volunteer work includes participation in the Keep America Beautiful program through Leo Club, volunteer work for Colby’s Kickball Tournament and the Greene County Historical Society.
Wright plans to attend either West Virginia University or the University of Florida to study journalism and communications.
