Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offers Holiday Magic: Let It Glow, through Jan. 6, featuring indoor and outdoor light displays, a 22-foot fir tree with giant gingerbread house, Phipps’ new limited-edition Holiday Hologram Glasses that reveal festive snowflakes while looking at the LED light displays, a make-your-own greeting card activity sheet for kids and “Find the Flakes” family-friendly scavenger hunt.

The model railroad exhibit, Garden Railroad: Memories in Motion, is free with admission, and Santa will visit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, Dec. 18-23, also free with admission.

Phipps’ Family Fun Days take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 26-30, and offer activities during winter break, including crafts, plant potting and more that are all free with admission.

Ring in the new year early at Phipps with a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration on Dec. 31. An early countdown will take place at 8:45 p.m. followed by New Year’s Eve-themed crafts, games and activities from 6 to 9 p.m., all free with admission.

General admission is $17.95 for adults, $16.95 for seniors and students, and $11.95 for children ages 2-18. Daily hours for Winter Flower Show are 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 5 to 11 p.m. for Winter Light Garden. Phipps closes at 5 p.m. Dec. 24 and reopens at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 26. Reserve timed tickets to confirm your visit date and entry time at phipps.conservatory.org/tickets.
