Outstanding drivers honored
The Washington County Transportation Authority (Freedom Transit) honored three outstanding drivers as its “Driver of the Year” at the Dec. 11 board meeting held at Washington Transit Center. The honor was given to Summer Sparte, Paratransit East Driver of the Year; Wilbur White, Fixed Route Driver of the Year; and Suzy Prevade, Paratransit West Driver of the Year, for their exceptional customer service and clean driving record throughout 2018. Also taken into consideration were the many positive remarks that passengers provided for each of these drivers.
