Coal miners from Greene and surrounding counties are invited to the American Legion, 205 East George Street, Carmichaels, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday for black lung testing by Lungs at Work. Lungs at Work is launching a new option for black lung testing, and all area coal miners are invited to participate. The group will offer health assessments, pulmonary screenings, pulse oximetry testing and benefits counseling and assistance with federal black lung applications.
