The library is accepting book donations, no textbooks or encyclopedias, and used jewelry for the April 21 jewelry and book sale, to be held inside the West Newton Gymnasium, S. Fifth Street, West Newton. Donations can be dropped off during regular hours.

The first fundraiser of the year will be held March 18 at the Turkeytown Fire Hall, Supervisor Road, off of Mt Pleasant Road, West Newton. Doors open at noon for the Super Gift Basket Raffle, drawings being at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and include a full lunch and 25 tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the library or Gary’s Lunch, Second Street.
