Fort Burd Presbyterian Church, Route 166, 200 Thornton Road, Brownsville, will be collecting “Mommy and Me” toiletries for the Fayette County Women’s Abuse Shelter from 9 a.m. until noon through Jan. 21. Items desired are bottles, baby wipes, diapers, duffle bags, soaps, shampoos, and other toiletries. No clothing or toys. For monetary donations, make checks out to: Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church and write “Women’s Shelter” on the memo line. For information, call 724-785-3080.

BAMA will meet at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Pastor Parish House for St. Peter/St. Cecilia, 118 Church St., Brownsville.

Daughters of the King will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 416 Vernon St., Allison. Food and beverages will be provided. Events and activities for the first quarter of 2018 will be planned.

Fresh Fire Church will be supporting the free Produce to People food program from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday in the Fiddler’s Building at Fayette County Fairgrounds. Anyone who would like to volunteer can show up at 8:30 a.m. The next date is Feb. 8. Anyone who needs food is welcome and there are no income limits.
