Three students from Washington County are participating for the first time in Lincoln Park’s musical show, House of Pop, a compilation of classic and modern pop music.

Matt Fedorek, a junior musical theater major from Finleyville; Moriah Hathaway, a junior musical theater major from Peters Township; and Tessa Moore, a senior music major from Trinity, will perform in the Main Stage Theater at 7 p.m. today. Tickets cost $5 for students and $12 for adults.

The students auditioned and were chosen as soloists. Fedorek will perform “24 Karat Magic,” by Bruno Mars; Moore will sing a solo part in “Never Gonna Get It,” by En Vogue as a member of a girl group; and Hathaway will perform “We Will Rock You” by Queen.

Lincoln Park is a tuition-free public charter school in Midland offering training for Pennsylvania middle-and-high-school students in music, theater, dance, literary arts, media arts, and health science and the arts.
