If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, you can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• A Claysville couple needs transportation for grocery shopping, appointments and occasional rides to the Houston/Canonsburg area.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs someone to take her clothes to the laundromat once a month.
• A Charleroi senior woman needs help with grocery shopping, dishes and laundry.
• A Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to appointments in the Mon Valley on as-needed basis.
• A Washington senior woman needs rides to church and assistance with shopping.
• A Wolfdale senior woman needs rides to the bank and grocery store once or twice a month.
