Clarksville Lions names student of the month
The Clarksville Lions Club has named Connor Alcorn its student of the month for December.
Alcorn, the son of Francesca and Charles Alcorn of Waynesburg, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School, where he maintains a 4.44 grade point average.
Alcorn is treasurer of the National Honor Society and a member of the science olympiad, envirothon team, academic league, debate team, peer jury, STEM and STEAM. He also is on the reading competition team for the library club. He plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh. He hopes to become a freelance author and has interests in gaming and urban planning.
