Donations are being accepted for 11 people from First Church of God, West Newton, to go on a mission trip to Gamerco, N.M., July 14-21. New Freeport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold a country music concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the fire department. Common Grounds will perform at 7 and Country Sounds will perform at 8:30. Admission is $5.
The Warrior Trail July membership meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 19 at 1346 Garards Fort Road, (Fordyce) Waynesburg, PA 15370. The public is welcome to attend the group’s picnic. Washington County hazardous waste collection will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 21 at Wild Things Park, 1 Washington Federal Way, Washington. Acceptable items include: aerosol cans, automotive fluids, batteries, camp fuel/small propane bottles, chemistry sets, compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), gasoline and kerosene, household cleaners, mercury, paint products, pesticides/herbicides, photo chemicals, pool chemicals and smoke detectors. The Knight’s Creed Motorcycle Charity Organization will hold Ride for Aryah July 21, beginning at Midway SNPJ 1904 , 1305 Grant St., Bulger. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with kickstands up at 1. There will be food, music, auctions and raffles. Cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger or non-rider.
