Carmichaels Envirothon team places 18th at competition
The Carmichaels Envirothon team, representing Pennsylvania, placed 18th out of 50 at the International Envirothon competition. The team – comprised of captain Ryan Swartz, Christina Adams, Stephen Zacoi, Joey Kurincak and Jacob Hair – scored 554.5 out of 700, 13.5 points away from the top ten. With team adviser Kevin Willis, the students also had the chance to visit Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and Soda Springs during their travels to Idaho July 22-28.
