Cal U. adds Doctor of Education program
California University of Pennsylvania is ramping up its offerings for would-be superintendents and other school leaders.
The university is adding a Doctor of Education in Education Administration and Leadership program, which will include a state-approved superintendent’s credential. This will be Cal U.’s third doctoral program and it will be conducted completely online. The Ed.D. program will be implemented this fall.
This program will focus on fiscal resource management, including businesses practices, financial management, human resources and ethics and integrity.
Silvia Braidic, a professor in the Department of Secondary Education and Administrative Leadership, said in a prepared statement: “Cal U.’s online Ed.D. program is designed for seasoned educators who are eager to take the next professional step without taking time away from their work or personal responsibilities.”
