TRPIL buys central Pa. home health agency

1 min read

Washington-based Transitional Paths to Independent Living has purchased Private Care Resources Inc., a home health agency based in Duncansville, Blair County,

PCR, which was founded in 2000, was a state-licensed and Medicaid-certified agency that provided customized medical and non-medical care for individuals in 16 Western Pennsylvania counties. It has been rebranded as TRPIL Home Health.

Kathleen Kleinmann, TRPIL’s chief executive officer, said in a prepared statement: “This acquisition will enhance and expand the types of care and support our consumers receive. With the expertise we’re gaining from PCR, TRPIL can enter into the world of providing in-home medical care services. These services are often of vital importance for people with disabilities to continue to live and work independently — and participate as citizens — in our communities.”
