Waynesburg U. presents ‘Christmas Belles’

The Theatre Program at Waynesburg University will present “Christmas Belles” at 7:30 p.m. today in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center on campus. “Christmas Belles” tells the story of a church Christmas program that spins out of control and includes squabbling sisters, family secrets, a surly Santa, a vengeful sheep and a reluctant Elvis impersonator. The play is the sequel to “Dearly Beloved,” which was presented last summer by Waynesburg’s Theatre Program, and includes the return of the main characters, the three Futrelle sisters. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased in advance at waynesburg.ticketleap.com/belles. For more information, call 724-852-3226.
