A chicken-and-biscuit dinner will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at West Alexander Methodist Church, Main Street. A love offering will be accepted.
A meeting of Jefferson Township Historical Society will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the White Church, located in Eldersville across from the fire hall. The GPS address is 12 Fire Road, Burgettstown. The “History of the Automobile” will be discussed. There will be pictures of a 1924 Model T Touring and a 1937 Buick owned by the late Ben Strain. A social hour with refreshments will follow the meeting.
Jefferson-Morgan School District will hold an Early Childhood Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the elementary gym. Information for parents of young children, from infant to 5 years, including district administration, teachers, and local child care agencies, will be present to answer questions.
The monthly meeting of the Mon Valley Coin Club will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at 303 Chamber Plaza, Charleroi. A 50/50 raffle will be held and kid’s prizes will be awarded. Applications are now being accepted for membership. For details, call 724-984-6611.

An all-you-can-eat pancake brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Waynesburg VFW Post 4793. Cost is a donation to support the Waynesburg and Rices Landing Boy Scouts’ trip to Gettysburg.
