Mon Valley Chamber plans ‘roast and toast’
A roast and toast of Deb Keefer, who has served as the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce executive director for 21 years, will be held April 14 at the Charleroi Elks Club.
The fundraising event will feature a dais of Keefer’s colleagues, friends and family, including master of ceremonies and chamber president Armand Ferrara. Among the roasters to appear are Jeff Kotula, Washington County Chamber; Bill Horrell Jr., Mar-Bill Jewelers; event chair Diann Donaldson, Reliance Business Solutions, Jazzy Boutique; Tom Villella, Villella Remodeling; Donna Angelo, MVRCC & SPHS; Donn Henderson, Borough of Wilkinsburg; Tim Keefer, brother-in-law and head basketball coach at Carlow University; Denise Mornak, Mornak Excavation; Justin Forlini, Armando’s Pizza; and Vic Vitale, State Farm Insurance.
The doors open at 6 p.m. for a reception with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. A buffet dinner and program will follow at 7. Jerry’s Catering will cater the event, and DJ Jerry Jericho will provide entertainment.
