If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, your time can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• Do you like cutting grass and yard work? Would you be willing to volunteer to help a senior or an individual with a disability with lawn care?
• A Canonsburg senior woman with various health issues needs friendly visits and phone calls.
• A Cherry Valley/Burgettstown-area visually impaired, senior woman needs someone to visit weekly and read the Bible and/or go shopping with her.
• A Monongahela senior needs rides to various appointments. She would need someone to assist her, as she has a wheelchair.
• An Amity woman needs help with transportation for appointments in the Washington area.
