Greene tasting event set for April 9
Greene County United Way’s 5th Annual Greene Cuisine will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 9, at the PA Army National Guard Readiness Center in Waynesburg. Sample cuisine from area chefs, including: 5 Kidz Kandy, Buy Local Buy Greene, Cakes by Ralph, Don Patron Mexican Restaurant, South Side Deli, Willow Tree Farm and Willow Tree Farm Bakery. Thistlethwaite’s Vineyard will provide a complimentary wine tasting. There will be entertainment and raffles to bid on at the event.
Tickets at $25 per person or $200 for a table of 10 can be pre-purchased until April 4 or bought at the door the night of the event. Checks can be mailed to the Greene County United Way, 748 East High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
