U.S. Air Force Airman Jay W. Russell graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Russell is a son of Christopher and Jennifer Hill of Acme, former ward of Eileen Loeffert of Bridgeville and grandson of Bonnie Wilson of Bulger. The airman is a 2016 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School.
