A chicken and biscuit dinner will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Claysville United Methodist Church, 1279 Route 40 West. Legacy Baptist Church will celebrate its seventh anniversary with an open house at its 10 and 11 a.m. services Sunday, May 20. The church meets in Chartiers Township Community Building, 2013 Community Center Drive, Houston, adjacent to Chartiers-Houston High School. The Rev. Mike Clark is the founding pastor.

DART Washington County (Democrats for Action, Responsibility, and Truth) will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Burgettstown Grange, 643 Creek Road, Bulger. The topic of discussion will be the outcomes of the May 15 primary election. Also included will be a discussion about gun safety and DART’s official stance on the issue. Visitors are welcome.

WYFCO and T-Robe Comedy present The Improv Washington, a spring fundraising event benefiting Washington Youth Football and Cheerleading organization, on Friday, May 25. The event will be from 6:30 p.m. to midnight at the American Legion, 168 Park Ave., Washington. Doors open at 6. Tickets are $40 per person and include dinner, the comedy show, disc jockey and dancing. There will be a cash bar. Only 200 pre-sale tickets will be available by calling Tom Kelly at 412-997-4106. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Bible Chapel Washington Kids Soccer Clinic will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturdays, May 26-June 30, at Faith Christian School, 524 E. Beau St., Washington.
