FFA regional winners headed to state competition
The state FFA Association Western Region Speech and Parliamentary Procedure Contest was held April 25 in Wampum. FFA members from Erie to Somerset competed in speech contests, including junior speech, prepared, conservation, extemporaneous, creed recitation and parliamentary procedure.
Washington County FFA members from Trinity and Fort Cherry, H.G. Parkinson Chapter, qualified for the regional contest by placing in the top three in their respective chapters, Washington County and Washington/Greene area contests.
Those who placed in the top three in their category will compete in the state FFA contest, to be held at Penn State University in June.
