Marshall – 60 years
Clark and Esther Marshall of Enid, Okla., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall were married May 24, 1958, in Midway. Clark grew up in Deer Creek Township, Allegheny County, and Esther grew up in Claysville. They lived in Cranberry Township before moving to Enid in 2017.
The couple have two sons, John (Gracia) of San Antonio, Texas, and Dave (Bel) of Enid.
They have seven grandchildren and five surviving great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall met at Indiana State Teachers College in Indiana. Following their marriage, they traveled extensively, first, when Clark was in the Army, and then together as teachers in the United States and in Europe.
An Alaskan cruise to celebrate their anniversary is planned in August.
