Henry and Fern Miklic of Washington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a surprise card shower.

Mr. and Mrs. Miklic were married November 15, 1958, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands.

Their children are Bob (Millie) Miklic of Claysville, Kim (Bob) Arnold of Washington and Lisa (Donn) Matthews of Washington.

Their grandchildren are Jason, Rob and Brandon Miklic; Daja Durkacs, Shannon and Austin Arnold; and Tyler, Nathan and Jess Henry Matthews. They have six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Miklic is retired from Washington Steel in Houston. He enjoys sitting on his deck and his yard. Mrs. Miklic is a homemaker, who enjoys crocheting doilies to give to anyone who is kind to her, and walking. Both enjoy going to the mall to be with their friends.
