Daughters of Grace Choir will present “Old Songs for New Dogs!” at 7 p.m. Friday. The event will be held in the sanctuary of Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, located on East Greene Street in Carmichaels.

The choir will present a variety of popular songs from the 1930s to the 1970s, including “Blue Moon,” “Dedicated to the One I Love,” “Please Mr. Postman,” and “Stand by Me,” among others. Pianist Carilyn Beabout will accompany the choir, which is under the direction of Jonella Williamson.

A free-will offering will be received to benefit Canine Partners for Life: Prison Puppy Program, a local non-profit organization working to provide service dogs to those in need. Susan Flemming, volunteer with Canine Partners for Life, will share information about the organization and introduce several of the program’s pups in training. Admission is free and refreshments will be served following the program. For more information, contact Vickie at 724-825-9489.
