John Wesley United Methodist Church, 35 Central Ave., Washington, will hold a Women and Men’s Day Celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. Guest speaker will be Dr. J. LaVon Kincaid Sr., pastor of New Life Community Ministries of Penn Hills.

Canonsburg-Houston Ministerial Association will hold registration for its Toy Chest program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 19 and 20, at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 West Pike Street. The Toy Chest provides low income families in the Canonsburg-Houston metropolitan area with the opportunity to provide Christmas for their family. Those registering must provide the following: welfare card, health assistance card or income verification; proof of number of children between the ages of infant through 16 years of age and social security numbers for all family members. Toys will be available for pickup on Dec. 8 and will be prepackaged for families based on their preregistration forms.
The Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20 in Room 104, Courthouse Square. Members are requested to submit four prints for a critique session. Prints are also needed for the library’s December display window.

The 2019 Shop ‘n Save Westmoreland County Airshow will take place May 25 and 26, 2019, at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Unity Township. This year’s performance is “Tora, Tora, Tora,” the Commemorative Air Force’s recreation of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. VIP tickets, at $150 for adults and $50 for children ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult with VIP purchase, go on sale beginning Dec. 1 at www.palmerairport.com. General admission tickets at $25 go on sale in February. Advance tickets are available at all Shop ‘n Save stores at a discounted price of $15.
Lake Theatre Company, Canonsburg, will hold auditions for adult actors (age 18+) for the first four productions of the 2019 season from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and from 5:15 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
