Annual light festival set in Mount Pleasant
Braddock Trail Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s 29th Annual Festival of Lights will be held weekends, Nov. 24-Dec. 2 at Braddock Trail Chapter House located at the corner of Church and Walnut streets, Mount Pleasant.
Visitors can tour the 132-year-old mansion, view decorated Christmas trees and choose a favorite. Trees will be available for purchase throughout the event; purchased trees will be available for pickup from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, or arrange for pickup at a later date.
There will be daily door prize drawings and raffle prizes.
Refreshments will be included.
Hours are as follows: 1:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 and 25; 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29; 1:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. Admission is $5 per person. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
