The Claysville Christmas Parade sponsored by the Claysville Volunteer Fire Department will be held at a new time, 2 p.m. Dec. 1.

Line-up will begin at 1:30 at Valley View Road near Newton Consulting. The parade will end at Bell Avenue near the Methodist church. There will be no judging or prizes.

Marching units, floats, vehicles, horses and more are welcome. Santa should not be used as he will arrive by fire engine.

Santa will also make an appearance at the Claysville Community Building after the parade to meet children and provide a treat donated by the community building and Claysville American Legion.
