Steeler raffle to benefit Acorn Fund
Washington County Community Foundation is raffling four Steelers tickets and limousine service to and from Heinz Field for the Dec. 16 game against the New England Patriots. The game tickets are in section 224. Raffle tickets are $5 each. The winner will be determined by the first validated Pennsylvania Lottery number drawn at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7. If the number drawn on this date is an unsold ticket, the winner will be determined by the next day’s 7 p.m. drawing until a winner is determined.
Proceeds from the raffle benefit the WCCF’s Acorn Fund, which makes grants to local charities. To date, the fund has awarded more than $4,400,000 in seven funding areas: arts and humanities, community improvement, education, environment and animal welfare, health and fitness, human needs, and religion and faith-based.
Raffle tickets may be purchased at various locations including: Beer Here Distribution, Breezy Heights, Cox Market, The Ivy Green, Minteer’s Market, Model Cleaners, Peters Township Public Library, Tradesmen’s Inn, and the WCCF office in Eighty Four.
