Mon Valley Academy for the Arts and The Twin Coaches Orchestra Project present “A Night at the Coaches” Dinner/Show, an event to highlight the accomplishments of the Mon Valley Academy for the Arts and the heritage of the Twin Coaches Supper Club, from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Stockdale VFD Social Hall located on Railroad Street. Doors open at 2. There will be performances by the newly-formed Twin Coaches Jr. Jazz Trio, The Allies Trio and the Twin Coaches Jr. Stage Band comprised of local students ranging in age from 12 to 18 years old. Tickets are $35 and are available at Vic Vitale State Farm, Susan Jo Salon, MarBill Jewelry, Jazzy Boutique, Greater Rostraver and Monongahela Chamber Offices, or at the door. The Ladies Altar Society of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 601 Boone Avenue, Canonsburg, will hold its Thanksgiving bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. Advance orders are being taken for nut, poppy and apricot rolls. To place an order, call 724-743-0231 by Nov. 4.
