Waynesburg University to host overnight visit for high school students
Waynesburg University will host an overnight visit for high school students Sunday, Nov. 11, into Monday, Nov. 12. Participants will stay in dorms with current students and get a “behind the curtain” look at the university, said Kyle Digiandomenico, admissions counselor.
Once participants arrive on campus, they will be introduced to their host students and have time to explore campus. They will be invited to participate in some short ice breakers and games, followed by dinner in the Benedum Dining Hall.
After dinner, participants can attend Upper Room, the University’s student-led worship service, and stay for an ice cream party.
Digiandomenico said the overnight visit gives high school students the most “authentic experience” at Waynesburg, giving them a closer look at residence life, classes and student activities.
“This is the only visit where you’ll get a 100 percent authentic view of campus and Waynesburg University,” said Digiandomenico. “Other visits cover just 50 percent of the experience. Hopefully, through this visit, a student can determine if Waynesburg University is the best for them.”
